Project Description
The project comprises 3 residential towers built on top of a 3-level shared parking lot. The first stage of construction includes two 9-floor towers – buildings A and B – with 71 luxury residential units, including spacious duplexes and penthouses with a direct view to the beach and ocean. The third tower will be 18 floors high and will include 73 residential units with lavish technical specifications, including garden and duplex apartments, mini-penthouses and a two-floor penthouse that will take up the entire top floor.
The complex’s environs will include new trees surrounded by verdant lawns, leading to an existing wooded area to the east, and a public avenue with bicycle lanes to the west. Tagore is located in proximity to shopping centers (including Ramat Aviv Mall) and educational facilities, as well as to the future Light Rail line.
The biggest challenge this project poses is the need to meet tight schedules in light of the build’s complexity – external cladding work, coping with groundwater using sealing with special materials, and lowering work within a tight urban area. In addition, the construction of many residential units requires a large quantity of workers, equipment and materials, meticulous logistical management, and simultaneous construction of all three buildings.
Construction method and stages
The project is executed by conventional methods using four cranes, with luxurious stone cladding incorporated with aluminum.
Ashtrom contracting, via its subsidiary Ashtrom Jerusalem, adheres to strict safety and professional-construction guidelines from the very first stages of excavation, piling, casting of flooring, columns and ceiling, and later on during infrastructure preparation for each apartment’s
internal systems (including plumbing, gas, electricity, communications, air conditioning, etc.), as well as during plaster work, flooring, plaster board installation, painting and landscaping. Throughout the entire project, Ashtrom Jerusalem takes great care to meticulously plan the construction and repeatedly examine deficiencies during the work and in its final stages.
