Creating a Sustainable Environment
Buildings contribute to approximately 20% of the total global greenhouse gas emissions, with cities, on average, attributing more than half of their emissions to buildings. Anticipating a doubling of the global building stock over the next 30 years, it is imperative for us to take immediate action to mitigate these environmental impacts across the entire value chain. This includes initiatives during initiation, planning, construction, through sale or rent, to the management phase, renovation, and eventual demolition.
