The complex, currently in varying stages of construction, is comprised of 290 1- to 4-bedroom apartments in nine 5- to 8-floor buildings, with underground parking lots, a high standard of construction, and acoustic and thermal insulation built to a European standard. The buildings’ facades are clad in the local and luxurious Estremoz marble.

The apartments come fully equipped with cabinets, central air conditioning, kitchens with all the appliances (refrigerator, dish washer, oven, microwave), washing machine and drier, parquet floors, and prime-quality cladding.

The complex is located on the south bank of Douro River, on the route that leads to the famous port wine cellars, between Vila Nova de Gaia’s marina on one side, and a bird reserve on the other.

Alongside the Sao Paio Apartments residential complex, Douro Habitat will collaborate with a local company to also construct a 16,500-sqm ecological park that will be handed over to local authorities and will become public when work is completed.
