The project was for building a 300-room hotel for the Sandals hotel chain in Jamaica.

The hotel project, along the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, consisted of construction of the hotel systems, area development, landscaping and construction of the rooms, including their furniture and accessories, the public areas, restaurants, shops and sports facilities.

The hotel, rated 5-star, was built as five autonomous villages that contain all the services required for its guests.

Building the hotel

The work on the shell was performed using several tower cranes on site; the supply of materials to the site was a complex logistical operation because the hotel consisted of separate buildings.

The electro-mechanical works were performed with selected subcontractors, under the supervision of Ashtrom International's professional teams.
