Project Description

The Saidoff Tower complex includes one residential tower and a historically preserved building. The Tower consists of 24 floors with 99 luxury residences, and 3 parking-lot levels. The 22nd floor houses two mini-penthouses, and the 23rd floor houses one penthouse in an area of 750 sqm and a height of 6 meters.

The historically-preserved building is 3-floors high, and it contains 23 residential units and 14 stores facing Jaffa Street. The main access route to the building site is from Mani Street, which was also used for bringing in finishing supplies and for garbage disposal.

The view from the top floors overlooks Jerusalem, and especially the Old City, just 1.5 km from the tower. At the time of completion, Saidoff Tower was the highest in Jerusalem.

All you need to know about the construction work

Ashtrom Contracting, via its subsidiary Ashtrom Jerusalem, adhered to strict safety and professional-conduct guidelines from the very first stages of excavation, piling, casting of flooring, columns and ceiling, and later on during infrastructure preparation for each apartment’s internal systems (including plumbing, gas, electricity, communications, air conditioning, etc.), as well as during plaster work, flooring, plaster board installation, painting and landscaping.

Throughout the entire project, Ashtrom Contracting took great care to meticulously plan the construction and repeatedly examine deficiencies during the work and in its final stages.

The tower was erected using the Baranovitch Method with two cranes. Was on the historic preservation building was conducted in consultation with the Jerusalem Municipality’s preservation architect.
