Project Information

The International Quarter is located at a central spot in Lod’s urban transport array. The Quarter’s urban plan, which emphasizes the improvement of local transportation, creates an urban continuum between the other parts of the city and the new neighborhood. For example, the plan delineates the nature and purpose of Road 200, that will connect the new Quarter to the existing city as well as to Road 44 and to main thoroughfares such as Road 1 and Road 40.

The proximity to Ganei Aviv train station, from which passengers can get to Tel Aviv in 12 minutes, and the availability of public transport along Road 200, will allow local residents to reach the Tel Aviv Metropolitan without requiring a private vehicle.

The construction of the new quarter will also include a renovation of the train station, making it an active urban center of housing, commerce, and employment, and a draw for couples and young families.

A varied mix of apartments

The project consists of 300 residential units for rent – 150 of them intended for those eligible for long-term rent – across six 11-floor buildings with a varied mix of apartment models – 2-, 3-, and 4-bedroom apartments with balconies, and garden apartments. Besides housing, the complex also includes commercial spaces and an underground parking lot.

Holistic approach to community and public services

The new quarter is designed according to advanced standards of urban planning, and is characterized by maximum accessibility and excellent quality of life. The plan includes the establishment of open public spaces, including passage to a large eucalyptus park, traffic circles and public buildings according to urban needs, and trails for pedestrians and bicycles.
