Project Information

This new 16-floor business and residential tower in Herzliya Pituach’s industrial park is replacing two old commercial buildings with 2 floors and an aboveground parking lot. The tower will include 23,000 sqm of business space, 1,600 sqm of commercial space, a public area, and 92 microunit apartments with an average area of 50 sqm per unit. The project’s underground parking area will be about 8,000 sqm.

The importance of excavation and shoring

Constructing this business and residential tower is a complex challenge: it can only be accomplished by first demolishing the old existing buildings, and performing ground drills and excavation to strengthen the foundations and ensure the new structure’s stability.

Ashtrom Contracting, via its subsidiary Base Pile, adheres to the strictest safety and professional-conduct guidelines in its drilled shafts work, intended to stabilize the ground and prevent its collapse. The structure’s internal supports are also chosen and executed in accordance with the ground type and the excavation depth. During drilling, workers cast concrete piles around the hole walls, creating stable foundations and preventing ground collapse.
