Project Description

Da Vinci Towers are two 44-floor towers soaring to a height of 155 meters, with a swimming pool suspended between them, and a 10-floor commerce and office building attached. The towers include 412 residential units and a 5-level underground parking lot.

At the center of the complex is an internal courtyard with an ecological pool, connecting the residential towers to the offices and the art center. A bridge made of concrete girders connects the towers at the 10th floor, and houses a floating pool.

Challenges and numbers

Frame construction had to be meticulously planned because of the tight and challenging schedule. Work on both residential towers and the commercial building was performed simultaneously, even though each tower was constructed as an independent project.

The towers’ foundation was accomplished by casting two rafts, a week apart from each other, followed immediately by casting the vertical elements that constitute the foundations for the residential towers.

At the height of construction, the site accepted more than 80 trucks of concrete, blocks and other materials each and every day, and each tower rose at a pace of 4.5 floors per month.

Some 83 thousand cubic meters of concrete and 15 thousand metric tonne of iron were cast during the construction process.
