Project Description

The project consists of six residential towers on two lots: lot 100 includes two B-type towers with 11 floors each + 2 parking levels; lot 101 includes four A-type towers with 10 floors each + 2 parking levels.

In total, lot 100 will house 96 residential units, and lot 101 will house 212 residential units. The top floors of all towers will have triplex and duplex penthouses, at an average size of 250 sqm.

The beautiful view visible from the towers’ top floors is the highest in Romema, which is just 2 km from the Old City of Jerusalem.

Project Characteristics

Prior to commencing the work, it was necessary to demolish the renowned Broadcast Authority building, which for 61 years was located next to Malkey Israel Street – at the heart of the Jewish Orthodox community in Jerusalem.

Ashtrom Contracting, via its subsidiary Ashtrom Jerusalem, adhered to strict safety and professional-conduct guidelines from the very first stages of excavation, piling, casting of flooring, columns and ceiling, and later on during infrastructure preparation for each apartment’s internal systems (including plumbing, gas, electricity, communications, air

conditioning, etc.), plaster work, flooring, plaster board installation, painting and landscaping. Throughout the entire project, Ashtrom Jerusalem took great care to meticulously plan the construction and repeatedly examine deficiencies during the work and in its final stages.

The project is conducted by conventional methods, using six cranes. The biggest challenge is completing the project on time despite the stressful timetable, the build’s complexity, and the large quantity of residential units, requiring the employment of many workers, the ample and constant supply of equipment and materials, and working on all six buildings simultaneously.
