The project consists of two buildings of five stories each, containing 129 new, equipped apartments that were built adjacent to the university and its facilities and the Beer Sheva North/University train station. The complex contains a car park with 61 parking spaces, of which five are for disabled persons, including two spaces for tall vehicles.

The residence complex has two types of apartments: two-room apartments, intended for singles or couples, and three-room apartments for couples, families or roommates. The two-room apartments contain a living room and a bedroom and are about 42 sq.m. in size each. These apartments are located in Building A, which contains two floor-level bomb shelters.

The three-room apartments, which contain a living room, two bedrooms and an open balcony are 64 sq.m. in size each, and are mostly located in Building B. There are also accessible apartments in the complex, and the entire building is built according to accessibility and green construction standards.

The construction process

Ashtrom Contracting, through its subsidiary Ashtrom Engineering, places special emphasis on safety and professionalism in all stages of construction – from the construction of the structural shell, through the work on the internal systems in each apartment (such as plumbing, electricity, gas, communication, climate control, etc.) to wall cladding, flooring, aluminum work, exterior and landscaping.
