Project Description

Or Yehuda’s Bait BaPark Neighborhood is comprised of 27 buildings, each 10-13 floors high, with a total of 1,429 residential units (most of which are part of the Price per Occupant scheme), and 9 parking lots. The apartment mix is diverse: 3-, 4-, and 5-bedroom apartments, garden duplexes, mini-penthouses, and penthouses.

Surrounded by sprawling green areas as well as walking and bicycle trails, the neighborhood combines housing with public services, commerce, and entertainment, and is only a ten-minute drive from Tel Aviv.

Challenges in managing and executing a mega-project

To get an idea of the challenging scope of work in the largest housing development in Israel, constructed simultaneously in 34 months, consider the following numbers: 13 thousand industrialized elements, 600 thousand cubic meters of excavated material, a 215 thousand sqm aboveground area, an 80 thousand sqm parking-lot area, 16 tower cranes, 25,372 metric tonne of iron, 174,528 cubic meters of concrete, and above all – 5 million work hours at the strictest standards of efficiency and safety.

Overall, this was a mega-project that required air-tight management, optimal logistical planning, the establishment of a quality assurance division, smart distribution of work among several contractors, and maximum flexibility.
